James has been a chartered architect for 10 years providing high quality design solutions with openness, collaboration, pragmatism and competency, intrinsic to every project undertaken.

Having experienced various sectors nationally and internationally, James’ major experience has been within the luxury leisure market specializing in spas and resorts.

Working mainly as design architect James has been lead architect for master plan, concept and schematic stages on wellness retreats, golf course based resorts and bespoke private spas and pool houses. Having recently worked within a multi-disciplinary practice including chartered town planners James understands the process of planning gain and the added value of using planning legislation such as permitted development to achieve much higher scales of development. James uses his extensive graphical and communication skills to provide robust documentation to support such schemes.

A major achievement of James’ was in 2007 where he presented to CABE a contentious scheme in Windsor for a modern scheme within the shadows of Windsor Castle. The presentation and subsequent collaboration with the South East Regional Design Panel meant that the support of the SERDP was the major element considered by the Planning Inspectorate in ultimately achieving a successful appeal. In 2011 the penthouse scheme achieved the highest ever £/sqft sales revenue in Windsor.
