Matthew is a chartered architect and uses his in-depth knowledge of technology to enhance the design process. Matthew’s design experience included major projects in the UK, Europe, Caribbean, Middle East and Africa.

As well as running projects on land, he has also delivered on the construction of spas on numerous cruise ships, where drawings have been produced to precise standards to ensure that much of the work can be pre-fabricated off site, while integrating perfectly with other parts of the project. Work internationally has given Matthew an in-depth knowledge of variously internationally recognized regulations and standards in construction, including UK Building Regulations, IBC and NFPA regulations, along with LEED and BREEAM standards for sustainability.

He is adept at altering his working style to suit local working and construction methods, whilst producing the high standard of building expected by today’s clients.
Whilst at Syntax, Matthew was Project Architect on many projects, including the award winning Six Senses Spa at Elounda Crete, large resort developments in the Caribbean and Lebanon, as well as a large Medical Spa /Clinical Rehabilitation Centre in the UAE.
