MIRA LOTZ

BUILT HERITAGE SPECIALIST

BA (Hons), MSc

Mira graduated in Interior Architecture and Stage Design in 2011 and started work in native Poland as an Interior Designer.  Whilst working on several prestigious residential projects, Mira found an interest in the strong links these held to the local history and culture.

After relocating to the UK, Mira’s enthusiasm for art and architecture flourished with her experience of Listed Buildings and London Open House events.  She subsequently formed a fascination for Built Heritage and a strong belief that modern and historic architecture can be weaved together to form a new exciting narrative.  Mira consequently decided to further develop her knowledge by undertaking an MSc in Architectural Design for the Conservation of Built Heritage.

Following the completion of her MSc in 2019 Mira has since been working with us on projects that require careful conservation consideration.  One such project included an intricate Conservation Plan for a Grade 1 listed Palladian mansion in Romford, Essex.  This project required detailed research into the history of the existing building and the traditional building methods used. As a result, the long-term proposals for the safeguarding of the listed building’s future continues to allow new, sensitively designed development within close proximity of this heritage building
